Stefaan Verhulst, co-founder of The Govlab,  will participate in a webinar discussing ongoing work by its Open Data Policy Lab on the Third Wave of Open Data. As ever greater amounts of data are generated and stored, the ability to actually re-use this data in a productive and responsible manner has remained stunted. Through discussions with open data experts around the world, the Open Data Policy Lab has found ways to address these failures in ways that build on lessons learned from data releases facilitated by freedom of information policies  (the first wave of open data) and open government data platforms (the second wave of open data).
