Anne Hepplewhite

Manager of Records and Property, Hamilton Police Service

    Anne Hepplewhite is a Certified Records Manager (CRM), who has worked in the public sector for the bulk of her career.  Anne holds a Master in Archival Studies degree from the University of British Columbia, a Master of Arts in History from Simon Fraser University, and a Certified Records Manager designation from the Institute of Certified Records Managers.

    During her career as a public servant, Anne has enjoyed a multitude of exciting assignments and projects.  A well rounded Records and Information Management professional, Anne is a recognized expert in Enterprise Content Management (ECM), access to information and privacy, traditional and electronic records management.  She has designed and operated records centres, written file plans, retention schedules, taxonomies and metadata guidelines.

    Anne is a seasoned public speaker who enjoys sharing her knowledge and expertise.  She is a former instructor in the Records and Information Management program at Mohawk College and has presented workshops on a variety of aspects of records and information management.  She is an active member of ARMA, the professional association that is the authority on governing information as a strategic asset, and a former board member for the Southwestern Ontario Chapter.

    Most recently, Anne has been involved in major change projects and has achieved both her Change Management Certificate from Prosci, and PMP designation from the Project Management Institute.
